Biography

Stephen King (born 1947) is an American novelist and short-story writer renowned for horror, suspense, and stories that reveal the fears beneath everyday life. Born on September 21, 1947, in Portland, Maine, he developed an early interest in writing and graduated from the University of Maine in 1970 with a degree in English.
