Trail of the Lost: The Relentless Search to Bring Home the Missing Hikers of the Pacific Crest Trail
Description
In "Trail of the Lost: The Relentless Search to Bring Home the Missing Hikers of the Pacific Crest Trail," former National Park Service ranger Andrea Lankford investigates the disappearances of three young men—Chris Sylvia, Kris Fowler, and David O'Sullivan—who vanished from the Pacific Crest Trail between 2015 and 2017. Lankford, drawing on her extensive experience in search-and-rescue operations, collaborates with an eclectic team of amateur sleuths to uncover the circumstances surrounding these cases. Their journey delves into the challenges of modern search methods, the complexities of online communities, and the profound impact of the wilderness on those who traverse it.
