Description
Detective Sergeant Stilwell is assigned to Catalina Island, a tranquil locale far from Los Angeles County's troubles. His peace is disrupted when a tip leads him to a clandestine drug drop at a remote airstrip. The operation turns chaotic, resulting in the death of a colleague and the escape of the smugglers. An internal investigation clears Stilwell, but he remains determined to uncover who brought violence to his island. His quest intensifies when he discovers a backpack linked to a woman who vanished four years prior. Collaborating with LAPD Detective Renée Ballard, Stilwell delves into a case that spans both Catalina and Los Angeles, confronting a criminal who taunts authorities and challenges his career and safety.
