Book Details

In "Carl's Doomsday Scenario," the second book in Matt Dinniman's "Dungeon Crawler Carl" series, Carl and his ex-girlfriend's cat, Princess Donut, enter the third level of a dungeon transformed into a deadly game show by alien overlords. They arrive in the Over City, a sprawling metropolis atop a volcano, now inhabited by monstrous creatures and corrupted NPCs. Carl selects the Primal race and Compensated Anarchist class, while Donut remains a cat with the Former Child Actor class. Guided by their former guildmaster, Mordecai, they embark on quests involving undead circuses and a necromancer's sinister plot. As they navigate these challenges, Carl and Donut's bond strengthens, and they confront moral dilemmas in a world where survival is a game.
