Description
In a bleak, dystopian future, fireman Guy Montag is tasked with burning books, the most illegal of commodities, and destroying the homes that contain them. Montag lives a monotonous life with his wife, Mildred, who is absorbed in her television shows. His perspective begins to shift when he encounters his young neighbor, Clarisse, who opens his eyes to a world where people once embraced ideas found in books rather than the mindless entertainment of screens. This encounter prompts Montag to question the society he has always accepted and the destructive role he plays within it.
