Description
In the early 1990s, a recent college graduate from the United States accepts a position as an "adjutant" to Lisabetta, known as Coco, a 92-year-old Italian baroness residing in a dilapidated villa in the Tuscan hills. Tasked with cataloging Coco's extensive collection of art and artifacts, the young man, referred to as "Giovedì" (Italian for Thursday), quickly finds himself embroiled in a series of unexpected and eccentric duties. These include ridding the house of a marten, entertaining a diverse array of guests—from bohemian painters to elderly princesses—and assisting Coco in her quest to reunite with a lost love before it's too late. Amidst the villa's chaotic and colorful milieu, he also becomes entangled in a romantic affair with a married man, further complicating his future plans.
