Wondrous
Description
In this young adult fantasy novel, Alice returns to Wonderland years after her first visit, seeking freedom from her constrained life in 19th-century London. She aims to open a traveling magical tea shop, but her plans are disrupted when she encounters other teenagers named Alice, each claiming to be the "true" Alice. The Queen of Hearts' soldiers capture all the Alices and bring them to the castle, where a prophecy reveals that one Alice is destined to save Wonderland from three invading mock dragons. The Queen declares that the Alice who can defeat the dragons will be named "The Alice," while the others will be exiled. Determined to secure Wonderland's future, Alice embarks on a quest with her enchanted tea set, forming an alliance with a boy connected to the jabberwocks of lore. She must prove whether she is the true Alice or merely a footnote in another heroine's story.
